The DUCC Curriculum
The DUCC Curriculum is organized by Grade, and broken down into Front Matter and four lessons.
Front Matter provides information about all the lessons in a given grade, including a breakdown of the lessons and standards alignment, prior knowledge for the teacher and students, and home connections using the American Academy of Pediatrics’ 5 Cs of Media Use.
Each lesson includes the teacher’s lesson plan and any worksheets, visuals, and links to any other resources needed. Each lesson can be download as one big PDF file, or each file (lesson plan, worksheet, etc.) can be downloaded individually. Each lesson also includes links to videos, games, or other media relevant to the lesson.
DUCC videos, games, and posters are also free and available in the Media section of the website.
